Every person who has ever lived - regardless of health status, biological sex, gender expression, sexuality, age, or race - has a body.
What’s more… EVERY body can be strong.
Therefore - strength training is for EVERY body.
Unfortunately, not everyone in the fitness industry sees it that way. Maybe you’ve had some negative experiences with fitness that make you think it isn’t for you. (Personally, that makes me super mad… but this isn’t about me, this is about you and your strength training.)
I want to help you change all that! I want to give you:
Strength Without The Struggle
How it works:
Join for live 40 minute virtual functional strength classes every Tu and Th at 7a ET. Session structure will include: - 5 minute dance party - 30 minutes of functional strength training - 10 minute mobility/core training Environment will be trauma informed, inclusive, and all body sizes, shapes, colors, and expressions welcome!
We’re keeping this really simple:
Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7a ET:
We meet on Zoom
From 7 to 7:05a ET we have a little dance party to warm up, shake out our nerves, and make sure everyone is logged on (in case anyone needs to go potty and is running late)
7:05 to 7:35 is Functional Strength Training - a style of training intended to make you stronger and better a living your day to day life. It’s not fancy or overly complicated and we can simplify to meet you at whatever level of movement feels safe and comfortable for you.
7:35 to 7:45 is core focused on mobility and stability
Can’t make class? The recording will be up by 8:30a in the members only area. Do the workout on your own!

I’ll teach you how to move safely and how to progress your movement so you keep getting better and better.
How to Lift Safely
You don’t need any equipment to start this program!
If you have equipment or over time you invest in some I can teach you how to use it safely, effectively, and can also answer questions about what equipment might be appropriate for your current level of fitness or your goals.

I’ve got a Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Applied Positive Psychology program, where my studies focused on how to facilitate personal transformations through the tools of lifestyle: movement, nutrition, sleep, mindfulness, meditation, beliefs, and the relationship with the self.

Mindfulness and Meditation Instructor
200 hr Yoga Teacher Trainer in Alignment Yoga
Just as important as that education, I’ve has worked with thousands through workshops, seminars, and 1on1 coaching applying scientific research out in the real world.
Cutting through the jargon: I’ve got over a dozen certifications and I’m in my 14th year in the business.
I’m also a queer, social justice warrior with a chronic illness who believes in human rights.
