Self Care

Description:

We see it posted everywhere, but what does #selfcare even mean?!  Take a bath?  A nap?  Make yourself workout, even when you’re tired?  Stress eat takeout and binge watch something? (ok, probably not that last one).

The idea of Self Care can be confusing; partly because we’re all similar, but different.  Just like different species of plants need different amounts of water, soil, and sunlight; different people need different ratios of movement, food, sleep, and contact.  This 1 hour workshop will explore what it means to actually take care of yourself in a meaningful, lasting way, and how to design a customized self-care routine.

Takeaways:

-          Identify your personal needs and more easily recognize the needs of others

-          Explore the domains related to #selfcare and how they might affect you

-          The basics of progressive habit change and habit stacking

-          Designing your own progressive self care strategy and ideas for how to explore further

Duration & Format:

1 hour workshop or webinar

As a webinar this is a great way for distanced teams to connect on a human level and bond, despite distance

The Science of Sleep

Description:

How’d you sleep last night?  If you’re like most of us, probably not great.  City noise, glowing screens, anxiety, stress, and how you’re eating can all affect your sleep.  In this workshop we’ll explore the science of sleep, what you were raised to believe about ‘good’ sleep, and where to start if you want to have a better night.

Takeaways:

-          The science of how sleep drive and circadian cycle come together to affect your sleep

-          The role your day time behaviors play in your sleep

-          Where to start with changing your own habits around sleep

Duration & Format:

1 hour workshop or webinar

Meditation and Mindfulness

Description:

In this ever-evolving world, learning to focus, stay in the present, and release stress is essential. It’s a key component of productivity, well-being, and burnout prevention. In this 1 hour of experiential learning your team can either focus on learning the basics of this skillset; or, if you already have a meditation practice we can workshop how to advance and deepen it.

Takeaways:

-          Why meditation is becoming increasingly popular and important to our society and culture

-          The key concepts of mindfulness, concentration, consciousness, and the skills of meditation relating to each of these

-          A foundation to start your own meditation practice

Duration & Format:
