Are you a Lifestyle Practitioner?
What’s a lifestyle practitioner?
Maybe you go by "coach" or "trainer"?
Maybe it's "therapist", "nutritionist", or "teacher"?
Maybe you're not sure what to call yourself.
You've got experience and training. You're certified (or working on them now). Possibly a few degrees and oodles of direct experience guiding others on a journey of behavior change and self discovery to build a lifestyle that works for them.
That education and experience is across multiple lifestyle domains.
Nutrition | Movement | Sleep | Mindset | Meditation | Stress Reduction
You're not siloed into one; but seek to integrate all in a holistic approach for your clients.
You are a Lifestyle Practitioner.
But you're not doing it as a hobby (or at least you don't want to).
This is more than a career.
This is a calling.
You're a Lifestyle Professional.
Welcome to somewhere that gets it.
From someone who gets it.
My name is Darlene Marshall and I'm excited that you're here.
After a decade working in the fitness and wellness industries (sometimes for major international brands and sometimes for myself) I know how frustrating it can be to try and build a sustainable, meaningful practice that gives you the financial stability of a "real job".
I know what it's like to worry "what if..."
what if this client doesn't renew?
what if I lose my health insurance?
what if I can't help this person?
what if I'm charging too (much, little, often, etc)?
And the question I struggled the most with:
What do I call myself if what I do is different from anyone else?
See, I've got a unique skillset (you probably do, too!).
I'm certified as a Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Wellness Coach. I have education in Motivational Interviewing and Neurolinguistic Programming.
Oh, and I'm one of only a small group of fitness professionals to have a Master's degree in Applied Positive Psychology.
I don't fall into any one bucket. I'm a lifestyle practitioner, like you.
You are unique!
Your viewpoint is unique.
Your lifestyle is unique.
Your brand is unique.
Your business is unique.
You're not only selling sessions.
You're selling information, your perspective, and your experience.
You're sharing with your clients how to integrate an ocean of knowledge into a holistic approach to life and living.
That means your business and practice needs are also unique.
What works for siloed skillsets and regular fitness businesses doesn’t work for you!
YOU end up bored. Burnt out. Empty feeling & questioning yourself.
That’s because you’re working in a system that you’ve out grown. In an industry built for limited skillsets.
You’re not selling the same things as the fitness and wellness industry.
So don’t use the same language, tools, and information as the rest of the fitness and wellness industry.

More information?
More guidance?
